I loved playing this game so much!! Currently i'm playing the game to get all of the endings ( so far I got 5 of the endings, mostly from Keir's route, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH) but everything about the game is great!! I love everything and the MC, the MC stands out from other games I have played. I love how you guys added a aftercare! It was lovely to talk to the MC and kinda from a bond with them! It helped me when I was doing the Cirrus route, it was a bit overwhelming but I loved it. I'm not so into BDSM but idk I was kinda into it. And the fancy stranger was so cuteee!! I love him as well! I absolutely love all the charaters and I cant wait to see the full game! LOVE OBSCURA SO MUCH <333
Just got the best ending,i wish this wasn't just a demo because this is absolutely beautiful. Also didn't expect keir to be so freaking tall damn,i do look like a child.
The after care zone is so sweet<3 didn't click it bc of any triggers or anything all that made me anxious was choosing what i was going to do in the timed answers but i calmed down after because if i didn't chose in time i could just go back. (for anyone who had the same issues i figured you can go in preferences and turn that off) i was Just curious so i talked with the main character tbh if i ever feel sad even if its nothing about the game ill probably go there

fancy stranger is in fact in another route,you can get to see them by going into the church and at some point when you leave (depending on the choice you make) you just bump into them :)
Got the good endings as the first one for each MC. At first I kinda hate Keir but he kept getting better and now I really like him and for Cirrus I didn't expect that scene at all it caught me off guard but his hotness is kinda off the chart so still love him tho. And, the fancy stranger I hope we will see more of him soon in the next chapter. Overall, this VN is fantastic I absolutely love it.
I got a bad ending and left it because there was so much story to the game. I was entranced by the writing though and the dynamics between the characters were written well. There was a lot descriptions on the settings it really helped me picture my surroundings. Nice Visual Novel! I hope to play the other ones!
I'm actually really enjoying this. From the choice of gender to the "Aftercare" zone and the addition of a safeword, this game was amazing to play especially since you provided a space to tab out if needed. I cannot wait for more instalments.

You know when you're in the mood for something and you can't quite place your finger on what but nothing you find is quite it? And you spend hours searching and find nothing? Yes well Obscura for me was that except I found Exactly what I was looking for. I am currently in the middle of the first love interest of my first playthrough and already had to stop just to sing my praises.
First of all, from the get-go the artstyle, music, and ambiance is absolutely stunning. The setting is this dark fantasy marketplace with religious undertones. I am looking forward to seeing the developments of the world.
The pacing and transitions of the story feel very natural as well. I feel like a lot of visual novel games, especially otome ones can be somewhat obvious in terms of like "THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CHOICE" where you can clearly tell when a choice is going to deviate the path one way or another. While this is sometimes helpful, I really love how natural the choices feel.
In a similar vein, as many people in these comments have mentioned, the MC is wonderful. I think they feel very natural and have realistic reactions to situations they are placed in. Again, many visual novel otome games can struggle with making likable and natural protagonists.
Finally, the progression of the relationships. Once again, just remarkably well-written and paced. Nice and slow, I like that they don't immediately start out in love with each other (I am a sucker for slower burns) and that the story takes time to build the relationships. I also love a bit of toxicity in fictional relationships so I look forward to seeing some darker themes throughout.
Basically, this is a stunningly beautiful and well-written game that honestly deserves better than being called an otome. And this is just how I feel after about an hour of playing. If you are a fan of dark fantasy, religious themes, slow burn, and romance than I really cannot recommend this game enough.

I very rarely try and achieve every single ending in a game the way I am trying to here. I think it really speaks to the quality of the game.
A few other notes, I really appreciate the various aftercare resources both in and out of game, especially in regards to Cirrus's route. (Although for personal preference I do find it somewhat immersion breaking but I understand the necessity for it for those that may need it, and it wasn't distracting enough to stop me from playing through his routes several times so I still consider it a good choice overall)
So far my only complaint is entirely in personal preference where honestly I think Cirrus's routes could go even darker but I'm an enjoyer of pretty dark fiction and understand it isn't for everyone. Just overall an amazing game with so much effort and creativity put into it. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
I quite literally created an account just to type this (though I probably should have a lot sooner)- this game (even though it's only just released one chapter) was fantastic. I loved the way MC was presented as a character with clear traits and motivations. The world-building is beautiful- the plot premise is so interesting and unique. Honestly, this might be one of the best introductions to a game, in general, I've seen in a while- kudos to the writers, developers, artists, etc. because everything was executed great.
The aftercare section (spoilers about that I guess?) is something I'd even be using outside of the game- it felt so warm and comforting, and having the MC speak affirmations and break the 4th wall when I expected to be booted out of the game was quite frankly something I haven't seen before and really helped my panicking. I also realized even with ONE chapter how attached I grew to my MC. This was so considerate and kind- thank you so much for putting this in here because even if someone (like me) thinks they know what to expect sometimes taking a step back is better. This is one of the best games I've seen in a long time, absolutely fantastic I am so excited for what is to come <3

(Simp alert incoming-) Oh my gOD THIS WAS SUCH AN EXPERIENCE WHKRHKSHKSJS!!!!! The art is beautiful and the music fits perfectly without feeling out of place at all. The atmosphere is just so sick and I love the world and the way there's an option for a safeword and aftercare. Cirrus' route had me holding my breath, but KIER'S ROUTE??? Top tier. Spent the first five play throughs staring at his arms. Banter. Cool full face mask. Dried fruit. What more could you ask for?
ALSO Vesper?? MVP MC of all time. I loved their narrative voice and how they interacted with the other characters. Kinda wish I knew their name before I began the play through (so I could've given them their canon name) but at the same time, playing the MC as a different name than Vesper made them really feel like their own character? And that made the aftercare feel a lot more comforting somehow. Anyway! 10/10 game
I love MC for their humor, for how cute and talkative they are. Honestly, this has to be the best MC that I ever saw in any VN. Also simping so haaard for Mr. Thief, I need more of him so bad T_T Will be waiting patiently for more updates for as long as it needs, this game truly deserves all the wait!

Played this a few days ago and it was absolutely amazing! spent a good hour or two doing both of the routes and trying to get the good endings. IM ANTICIPATING WITH SWEATING HANDS FOR WHEN THE NEXT ROUTE COMES OUT OR EVEN THE FULL GAME
I love the world you've created! It's so interesting. The music, characters, art... I loved it all.
While I enjoyed both routes, Kier's route was definitely my favorite. Him and the MC had such natural chemistry, every interaction was a joy. I don't like quippy characters, but the mc's snarkiness felt different here. The nonplussed delivery was incredible and a large part why I enjoyed this route so much.
Can't wait to see how the story continues! The team as a whole did fantastic work.
I really enjoyed every character in this story especially our MC.
I'm curious to see what will happen next :O
Oh yea and it's important for the other players to really check out the trigger warnings and the age restriction because i think some ignored them (from reading some of the comments) and it's important to take care of yourself first and foremost!
