January round-up

Well, that’s the end of January! We got the year off to a great start by having a Rotten Raccoons jamboree! There was food, there was fun, there was laughter, and there was sitting in an office and working together and that was also extremely fun.

First off, we got selected for the Storyteller’s Festival out on Steam, and that has been amazing! The games we’re standing alongside are amazing, so it’s well worth a look to see what’s getting highlighted. And if you haven’t yet, wishlisting us on Steam also helps us a ton. Thanks to everyone who’s been doing that ❤️

On the writing front, Tobi continues to be the MVP! I (Violet) also got some stuff done, but as I said last month: I am extremely busy for the next few months, so I don’t expect to get nearly as much work done. That said, I do have something to share.

This is a peek into our “test room” where we check if the coding we want to play with is working. This code was not done by me, but by the absolutely incredible SoDaRa/Wattson. It’s available for everyone to use here on itch.io, and we are looking forward to getting the chance to play with it!

That’s an edit I put together so that Keir could blush when the flirting on Tumblr actually got to him (and if you’re not on the Tumblr, check it out! You can anonymously flirt with the LIs or ask questions and might even get a response). And now, thanks to Mugi and her skills as an actual artist, here is Canon Blushing Keir:

It’s a subtle difference, but it’s a distinct improvement!

And I think that wraps up things for us here! February is the shortest month, but given that Valentine’s is coming up we’ll have to do something fun for it! Maybe we’ll have an event on Discord. Joining our Discord server (adults only) or following us on Twitter or Tumblr is the best way to keep track of what we’ll be up to in the next few weeks, so I’ll encourage y’all to follow us on the platform that you like the best.
