It has been a MONTH, y’all. We have been prepping OBSCURA for release like crazy, getting as many final touches in and trying to polish everything. September is here, and we are excited! So, let’s give you the rundown of what you need to know.

Releasing: OBSCURA: Keir Chapter Two and Cirrus Chapter Two
Release Date: 9 September 2024
Platform: Itch.io and Steam
Price: 14.99 USD, 14.99 Euro (regional pricing available on Steam)

And here’s some helpful details:

• Francesco and Oleander’s second chapters, as well as all the third chapters, will be added onto this release, not sold separately. If you buy Keir and Cirrus’ second chapters, you will automatically get the rest of the story as it releases. On Itch.io you may need to redownload the files, but you won’t need to pay again for additional chapters; on Steam you’ll automatically download new content as it releases.
• Itch.io does not offer regional pricing as an option; we would have enabled it if it was possible. If you would like to see an estimate of what our regional pricing will be on Steam, Saint Ceri’s pricing looks similar to ours, though we cannot guarantee that our prices will be the same.
• Obviously we want to finish OBSCURA, even if it takes us some time to get there. That said, purchasing a game in Early Access is always a risk even if we do what we can to mitigate it, and we understand if players want to wait for the game to be more complete before buying.
