Whoa.

I think it’s fair to say it has been one heck of a month! OBSCURA got more than 7000 downloads (and Flamebait Dating Sim went over 4000 downloads, too!), Rotten Raccoons has gotten over 1000 followers on itch.io, and we’ve had our socks blown off by the massive positive response! 

When we started making OBSCURA for Otome Jam we were just hoping to make some folks happy and hopefully some people would be excited to see more of what’s hiding under the mountain. The sheer amount of responses we’ve gotten from people who want to know more, who have created amazing fanworks, it’s jaw-dropping. We’re so happy that you’ve enjoyed OBSCURA so far.

So what’s been happening since the release and the 1.01 update? Things have been quiet in our raccoon den in July. We’ve been working, travelling, seeing family, all those good summer things. We’ve been doing work backstage to make sure development keeps moving smoothly, which isn’t very exciting but is very helpful. More immediately exciting, work has begun for Keir and Cirrus’ chapter two, as well as chapter one for the Fancy-looking Stranger and [REDACTED]. Nothing we can show yet, but rest assured we are planning some things we think you’ll be very excited about.

We don’t have a release date for the next big block of story yet, but we’re excited to start sharing more information soon. Thank you again for your feedback, kind comments, and patience. Your support has been genuinely inspiring.
